Cast Requirements | 6-8 Male vocalists, 6-8 Female vocalists, 8 - 10 Dancers
Pre-Audition Interview | Saturday 14th August 2010
Held at the Musical Theatre Rooms, 176 Don St. Invercargill, a one on one interview is held with each prospective cast member. The purpose of the interview is to discuss the commitment required for the rehearsal season and to talk through any issues that may have an effect on this.
At the interview, the auditionee will be asked to select a song from a prepared song list to sing at the auditions. One other song will be selected by the Musical Director for them to sing and they will be given a song that they will be asked to sing a harmony line to. The Musical Director will provide a CD with backing tracks to each of the selected songs and the lyrics. At the conclusion of the interview, an audition time will be set for the following weekend.

Auditions | Saturday 21st & 22nd August 2010
The Audition will take place at the Musical Theatre Rooms, 176 Don St. Invercargill at the arranged time.
The Audition will take approx 7 minutes and will comprise of the following:
- The auditionee will be asked to sing their selected song
- Sing the harmonies provided
- The choreographer will take the auditionee through some movement
- Sing the song selected by the Musical Director
There will be approximately five people in the audition room at the time of the audition. A sound system will be in place to play the backing tracks and the auditionee will be provided with a microphone.
Dancer's Auditions | Sunday 22nd August 2010
Dancers will be required to book for pre audition interview and they will be required to sing one song for their audition. Movement audition will be held as a group on Sunday 22nd August at 1pm.
